Miss Universe 1955 - Hillevi Rombin


The fourth edition of Miss Universe was held on 22 July 1955, at Long Beach Municipal Auditorium,Long Beach, CaliforniaUSA. They had 33 young ladies in the competition. Miss Sweden, 21-year-old Hillevi Rombin, won the competition. As of 2009, she remains as the only Miss Universe winner to date to have died.

Miss Universe 1954 - Miriam Stevenson


The third edition of Miss Universe was held on 24 July 1954, at Long Beach Municipal Auditorium,Long BeachCaliforniaUSA. They had 33 young ladies in the competition. Miss USA, 21-year-oldMiriam Stevenson, won the competition. She became the first American to win the Miss Universe competition.
